Kasalina Smith, aka Catherine Nakawesa is a dancer, choreographer and copywriter. Born and raised in Kampala, Uganda, she’s consumed by a throbbing curiousity about the world beyond her cradle. And so she explores and has been blessed to travel to diverse global destinations over the last 8 years.

On her first personal adventure outside East Africa, she chose to go to the farthest place away from home – New Zealand! At the end of a wacky, adrenaline pumped expedition – sky diving, black water rafting, jet-skiing, riding horses and climbing glaciers – she sat down at a beach in Queenstown with a stranger. Watching the sun go down at 10 pm, she was smacked on the head by a truth – Life is better shared.

And so she writes.
